On 12th June 2015, the 20th meeting of the members of the German Association for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells [Deutscher Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellen-Verband e.V.] (DWV) took place in Hamburg. This year there were no elections to the executive board. Instead, Werner Diwald, who has been acting Chairman since 2014, explained the modernization steps within the association that are currently ongoing. Diwald, who is also the full-time Managing Director of ENCON.Europe, explained that “The DWV has become more visible.” To further strengthen this phenomenon, among other efforts, the homepage is currently being revised and redesigned.
Diwald also reported that the “Association for Wind Hydrogen” performing energy has been integrated in the DWV. performing energy had been established in December 2011 with Werner Diwald as its spokesman in order to advance projects in the field of Power-to-Gas, and has been managed as a specialist DWV committee since January 2015.
