At the 3H2 Forum in Basel, around 300 experts from politics, business and science discussed the role of hydrogen in the tri-border region between Germany, France and Switzerland. The focus was on cross-border strategies, concrete application projects and investments.

Quest One and Ryze Power have entered into a partnership to provide green hydrogen. At Quest One’s site in the city of Hamburg, Germany, hydrogen from test processes will in future be introduced to the market via a trailer station operated by Ryze Power.

Daimler Truck begins the second phase of practical tests of its hydrogen-powered GenH2 Trucks. Five logistics companies are using the fuel cell trucks in regular operations. The goal is to prepare for series production starting in 2026.

Hylane has brought the first hydrogen truck equipped with a Bosch fuel cell module into Germany’s road freight transport sector. The 40-ton truck from Iveco is operated by logistics company Schäflein for the Bosch plant in Nuremberg – as part of a rental model.

Thyssenkrupp Uhde has implemented a hydrogen recovery unit for ammonia producer Fertiglobe in the United Arab Emirates. The unit increases production by up to 6 percent while simultaneously reducing CO2 emissions.
