Markus Forstmeier, VP business development at Bavarian-based Electrochaea, has joined the board of the German Energy Storage Association, or BVES for short. During the general meeting in March 2017, Forstmeier was elected to the association’s executive board.
Hydrogen Europe has a new board. The European hydrogen association, formerly known as New Energy World Industry Grouping (NEW-IG) until it changed its name in November 2015, elected three new board members at the end of this June. Its chair has since been Raphaël Schoentgen, director of research and technologies at French energy supply company Engie. He followed in the footsteps of Pierre-Etienne Franc
Elcore, a manufacturer of fuel cell heating systems, had already elevated Sascha Kuhn to a board position at the beginning of this year. The former CEO of Bayerngas Energy Trading is expected to use his management skills to advance the growth of the company located in Munich, Germany. Kuhn has had longtime experience in the energy industry and is considered a specialist in helping growth-phase businesses. At Elcore, he has taken over the commercial tasks at board level.
