Air Products has commissioned a new hydrogen refueling station in Meckenheim, in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia. The facility will supply the bus fleet of Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH (RVK) and is part of an infrastructure project for emission-free mobility in the Rhein-Sieg district.
Under the motto "Connecting the Dots," six European operators of hydrogen refuelling stations aim to expand the infrastructure on the main European routes. The focus is on more refuelling stations and vehicles – especially in the short term until 2028.
Lhyfe has concluded a supply contract for approximately 90 tonnes of RFNBO-certified hydrogen with a German filling station operator. The hydrogen is to be used for refueling a bus fleet over a period of 15 months.

H2 Mobility is expanding its range of services to include a GHG quota service. This allows operators of hydrogen refueling stations to pool their avoided emissions and participate in the quota trading system – even with small volumes.
GP Joule and Keyou have entered into a strategic partnership to advance zero-emission hydrogen mobility in the heavy-duty transport sector. The cooperation includes both the provision of H2 trucks and the expansion of refueling infrastructure.
A new network of hydrogen refueling stations is being established along the highways surrounding Milan in northern Italy. Five stations are scheduled to be built by the end of 2025. The compressor technology is being supplied by the German company Maximator Hydrogen.
ABO Energy has commissioned its first hydrogen project in Hünfeld-Michelsrombach. The plant combines wind power, a 5 MW electrolysis plant and a hydrogen filling station. It is expected to produce up to 450 tons of certified green hydrogen per year.
Four companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Global Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam to establish a hydrogen corridor for truck transport across Europe.
In collaboration with Rheinbahn and Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, H2 Mobility has opened what it claims to be Europe's most powerful hydrogen refueling station.
Lifte H2, a subsidiary of Px Group, has commissioned a hydrogen refueling station for Open Grid Europe (OGE) at the Krummhörn site near Emden. The facility is part of the KruH2 hydrogen pilot project and is used to refuel the company’s own fleet of hydrogen vehicles.
