Markus Forstmeier
Markus Forstmeier, VP business development at Bavarian-based Electrochaea, has joined the board of the German Energy Storage Association, or BVES for short. During the general meeting in March 2017, Forstmeier was elected to the association’s executive board.

Johannes Schiel, formerly managing director of VDMA’s Fuel Cells working group, left the German association of machinery and equipment suppliers at the end of April. His successor, Gerd Krieger, used to be his mentor and had been deputy director of VDMA’s Power Systems department. Krieger has worked for the association for 25 years. (more…)

On 12th June 2015, the 20th meeting of the members of the German Association for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells [Deutscher Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellen-Verband e.V.] (DWV) took place in Hamburg. This year there were no elections to the executive board. Instead, Werner Diwald, who has been acting Chairman since 2014, explained the modernization steps within the association that are currently ongoing.
