At the beginning of December, market data and analyses for the fuel cell industry were published by E4tech in The Fuel Cell Industry Review 2017. E4tech is an international consultancy that has been providing insight into the hydrogen and fuel cell industry since 2014. At the end of September 2017, the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology and Swiss consulting firm E4tech held a forum on how to transform the energy industry through sector integration. The purpose of the gathering was to discuss the legal, financial and technical barriers to greater interaction between energy sectors, determined prior to the event through an analysis of possibly interrelated factors, and to come up with solutions. November 2015 saw the publication of the Fuel Cell Industry Review 2015, including market data and analyses for 2015. Since 2014, a team led by E4tech had contacted fuel cell companies around the globe, aggregated their supply figures and can now show the latest trends in the industry, much as Fuel Cell Today had done before its survey came to a halt.
